CHARLI XCX
WUTHERING HEIGHTS
X CROSLEYMOTION DESIGN / PROJECTION MAPPING
The project reimagines “Wuthering Heights” (2026) through a conceptual retail display, to promote a limited-edition Crosley Voyager Record Player alongside Charli XCX’s album which was used as the official soundtrack for the film.
The visual direction draws on a ghostly, romantic, gothic aesthetic, using cool tones and serif typography and compositions centered around the film’s music video visuals.
Design Concept
Designed as a window installation, the concept was translated into a small-scale display using a single projector and a foam board vinyl player model.

Planning Stage, and Asset Creation
To complete the video, and be able to proceed with the execution, I created various different assets as shown below
Execution
I mounted the vinyl scale model on the wall with nano tape then mapped out the final video using Kantan Mapper with TouchDesigner. The end result came out nicely and up to my expectations.

Although I was generally satisfied with the outcome, I couldn’t shake the idea of my original plan, which was to create a larger-scale display. With better equipment, I would have been able to produce a version that spans the full height of a room and offers a more immersive experience.
